Hit-and-run near Lind sends five, including children, to hospital

LIND, Wash. – A hit-and-run incident on U.S. 395 near Lind has left five people, including three children, hospitalized.

The Washington State Patrol reported that a silver SUV was stopped at the offramp to State Route 26 before it suddenly drove in front of another car. This caused the second car to lose control, collide with a pickup truck, and roll down an embankment.

Among the seven people in the car, five were injured. The injured include three children aged three, six, and ten.

The Washington State Patrol stated that the silver SUV drove away from the scene.
