STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – Declaration Networks Group (DNG) is spearheading a significant $8 million broadband project to bring high-speed internet to rural areas of northern Stevens County.

The initiative will connect more than 1,100 underserved homes by integrating fiber and fixed wireless technologies, Washington Department of Ecology announced.

An 84-mile fiber backbone will run along Highway 25, with hybrid fiber and fixed wireless service reaching more remote locations. This will provide symmetrical internet speeds of up to 1 Gbps.

The project spans from Northport to Colville and aims to deliver fast, reliable internet to families who have been without it for too long.
