BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – A high-speed crash involving an SUV occurred on Oak Street, resulting in significant damage to an orchard.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office reported that the driver, who was attempting to pass another vehicle, sideswiped it and ultimately crashed into multiple trees at the Game Farm Road intersection.
The driver was found to be heavily intoxicated and taken into custody for driving under the influence. BCSO says no other occupants were injured in the incident.
