HAYDEN, Idaho – The City of Hayden is calling for nominations to honor a distinguished local veteran during the annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Nominations require a 1-2 page biography detailing the nominee’s military service and community contributions. Submissions are due by Monday, September 29, 2025. For more information on how to nominate, visit the City of Hayden website at Veterans Commission at haydenid.gov.
Jennifer Arrotta, the events and recreation coordinator, emphasized the importance of selecting a veteran who embodies “Duty, Honor, Country” both during their service and in their ongoing community involvement.
The honored veteran will participate in the Veterans Day Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on November 11, as well as in the Hayden Lights Parade on December 6 and the Hayden Days Parade on July 25.
