Grant County Sheriff’s Office retires last gray patrol Dodge Charger

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) announced the retirement of the last 2012 Dodge Charger in their fleet, vehicle No. 7044, on Thursday evening. The vehicle served the community for 14 years and 119,000 miles.

“2012 was the only year of gray Chargers for the GCSO,” a spokesperson with the sheriff’s office said. “The following model year didn’t offer gray, so white became the primary color of our fleet.”

After a 12-year career of patrolling Grant County, 7044 was most recently designated as the patrol vehicle for reserve deputies. The GCSO removed 7044 from the fleet and replaced it with a new vehicle, as they do with every patrol car, once it neared 120,000 miles.
