GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the Washington State Patrol (WSP) in stopping a car involved in the abduction of two children.
The car, wanted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon, was halted on Silica Road Northwest just outside of George Wash.
Law enforcement used a PIT maneuver and was able to secure the vehicle.
Both kidnapped children were found inside the car and are safe.
The WSP plans to release more details at a later time.
