ROSALIA, Wash. – The Rosalia Fire Department (RFD) responded on Tuesday to a reported grain fire along Pine City Malden Road.
Upon arrival, fire crews began battling flames that were burning through a field of standing grain. According to the RFD, firefighters managed to contain the blaze to approximately seven acres.
Following the discovery of a “blown power line fuse” near the area of the fire’s origin, Avista has opened an investigation into the incident and the cause of the blown fuse, RFD reported.
