Governor Brad Little announces re-election bid in Idaho

IDAHO — Governor Brad Little has officially announced his bid for re-election, filing his candidacy with the Idaho Secretary of State. Little will appear on the Republican primary ballot on May 19.

His campaign has already amassed nearly $1.5 million in funds, drawing support from all 44 counties across the state.

Little expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m honored to serve Idaho,” and extended his thanks to President Trump for his backing.

According to a press release, Little plans to formally kick off his campaign following the legislative session.

The Idaho Secretary of State’s office online campaign filing database lists several other candidates for governor this year.

In addition to Little, Republican candidates include Mark Fitzpatrick, Justin R. Plante and Sean Calvert Crystal. Democratic attorney Terri Pickens, who previously ran for lieutenant governor in 2022, is also in the race. Libertarians Paul Sand and Melissa-Sue Robinson have filed as well.
