
BOZEMAN, Mont. — The inaugural Gallatin Skijor Invitational is set to deliver four action-packed days of horsepower, ski power and Western grit this January at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds, Anderson Arena.
This event will take place over the course of two weekends, each offering a distinctly different experience for competitors and spectators alike.
Gates will open daily at 10:00 a.m., with racing and on-course action beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Events on January 17 through 18 will spotlight developing and regional talent in the Junior, Novice, Snowboard and Women’s Divisions, creating an authentic atmosphere that honors the sport’s heritage while showcasing the next generation of skijor athletes.
January 24 through 25 the Gallatin Skijor Invitational will have live coverage through The Cowboy Channel.
This weekend will host elite competitors in the Pro, Open, Sport and Switcharoo divisions along with Big Air elements added throughout the course.
This weekend will also serve as a key stop on the Pro Skijoring circuit. Top teams will compete for points to qualify for the Pro Skijor Finals in Salt Lake City in February.
Spectators can expect fast horses, fearless athletes, and nonstop action as professional teams battle it out over the two weekends.
