Future Day at SCC draws over 700 attendees for community fun

SPOKANE, Wash.- Future Day at SCC brought excitement and learning to the community, engaging kids and families alike. According to the event’s organizers, more than 700 people attended the event, making it a growing success.

Attendees had the chance to interact with CSPs and participate in various activities. “It’s been so fun interacting with all the different kids of different ages, getting to talk to them, different questions depending on the age group and seeing how they interact with their families and also their love for TV and weather has been very cool,” said a participant.

Organizers expressed their delight with the event’s turnout and the positive feedback from families. “They were thrilled with the turnout here and all the families we got to talk to,” they said.

The event provided an opportunity for kids to showcase their knowledge about weather and even try their hand at giving weather forecasts. “I was impressed by that. We had a few that were kind of walked by, you know, they had to give it a once over and then come back and be on TV,” said another participant.
