
NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho – The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 40-year-old man who fled from law enforcement on July 1, investigators said in a release.
Justin Lee Rock faces three outstanding warrants in Nez Perce County. One is a felony warrant for witness intimidation with a $250,000 bond, and the others are misdemeanor warrants for stalking and domestic battery, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators said Rock was camping at Red Bird Beach on the Snake River, July 1. When they attempted to arrest him, they said he fled on foot into a canyon, disappearing into dense brush. Despite searching for several hours, law enforcement was unable to locate him.
The sheriff’s announced today that Rock was located and booked into the Nez Perce County Adult Detention Center.
