Mobil quickly responded by dropping their unleaded price to $1.95 per gallon.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Two local gas stations slashed their prices on regular unleaded fuel by more than $1 per gallon on Wednesday.

Hamilton Market, located at 1918 North Hamilton Street, have dropped their regular gas price to $1.97 per gallon as a special deal for the holidays.

In response, the Mobil located across the street reduced their price to $1.99 per gallon.

Joey Bains, Manager of the Mobil on Hamilton Street, noted the ongoing competition with Hamilton Market, stating that Mobil reduced their prices after seeing the other station’s decrease earlier in the day.

Meanwhile, according to AAA Fuel Prices, Spokane County’s average gas price currently stands around $3.68 per gallon, highlighting the significance of the price cut by both Hamilton Market and the nearby Mobil station.

NonStop Local staff at the scene have observed increased traffic in the area as customers arrive to take advantage of the discounted gas.
