France’s National Assembly is backing a bill aimed at banning social media access for children under 15. This initiative is championed by President Emmanuel Macron.
The bill still requires final approval from the French Senate. If passed, it would impose restrictions on social networks for young users.
This legislative move follows Australia’s landmark law from late last year, which banned individuals under 16 from using platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
