SPOKANE, Wash. – A former president of the Spokane City Council is reportedly being considered for a spot on the Washington Supreme Court.
According to the Spokesman-Review, Breean Beggs, now a superior court judge in Spokane County, is one of a dozen candidates vying for the spot recently vacated by Justice Mary Yu.
Beggs led the Spokane City Council from 2019 to 2023.
