SEATTLE — As the Seattle Seahawks celebrate their 50th anniversary, former members of the team are sharing their support.
Errin, a former SeaGal who attended the Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2015, says the current vibe feels similar to that memorable trip. At the time, Errin had just graduated high school and was in her first year cheering for the Seahawks. She was excited to make the team and didn’t expect a Super Bowl trip on top of that.
Errin, now a graduate of Washington State University and a cheer coach in Seattle, looks forward to this weekend’s game. She recently joined other SeaGals alumni for a performance at the alumni game, where she was reminded of the energy the fans, known as the 12th Man, bring to game day.
She emphasized the importance of this energy, noting that the best way to gauge the 12th Man is through the seismic activity and sound around the stadium. “Expect a rumble and most importantly, go Hawks,” she said.
Errin believes the upcoming game will be close but feels confident that the Seahawks have momentum on their side.
