Former SeaGal and WSU grad reminisces on trip to Super Bowl

SEATTLE, WASH- Errin Williams was freshly graduated from high school when she made it onto the SeaGals.The SeaGals now go by The Seahawk Dancers.In 2015 Williams was excited to be part of it all, and the Super Bowl was just the icing on top.“I was like wow when I first made it because I kind of just ran into it,” Williams said, “It was an oh my gosh experience.”She says it was a crazy experience from the start to the end.Williams remembers the last game that propelled them into the Super Bowl and says things do feel similar.Energy-wise, the buzz is the same.“[I remember] the confetti pop, Michael Bennett was riding a bicycle,” Williams said.At the Super Bowl, Williams said it all was wild, she saw Snoop Dogg and Drake, and Left Shark, but Missy Elliot taking part in the halftime performance was one of the most memorable.Williams left The SeaGals to attend Washington State University, graduating from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, she returned after graduation to The Seahawk Dancers, before retiring from NFL cheer.This year, she performed as part of the alumni number in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Seahawks organization.
