Former nurse practitioner Amanda Proctor faces multiple charges in court

SPOKANE, Wash. – Amanda Proctor, a former nurse practitioner, was arraigned today on several serious charges.

Proctor is charged with arson in the second degree, malicious mischief, stalking and violation of protection orders.

According to charging documents, Proctor set a detached garage on fire at a home where a family resided next door.

Investigators noted that Proctor once dated the owner of the home and has been accused of sending letters and harassing him and his family.

This behavior reportedly violated an existing protection order.

Proctor pleaded not guilty to all six counts this morning. Her trial is scheduled for October 27, with a pretrial hearing set for October 6.
