DEARBORN, Mich. – Ford Motor Company is recalling around 100,000 Rangers made between 2024 and 2026 due to a defect in side curtain airbags, which may cause them to tear when deployed.
The company said they will install protective shields for free on all recalled models.
Letters to vehicle owners informing them of potential risk will be mailed out by September 8.
