Heavy flooding and debris have affected several highways near central Washington, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

In North Bend, Interstate 90 experienced significant rain that brought mud and rock onto the highway. WSDOT geotechnical experts evaluated the situation and deemed it safe to keep the road open for the day.

In Hyak, a one-mile section of State Route 906 has been closed due to damage from heavy rain. WSDOT stated that engineers are working on a repair plan. Despite the closure, homes, businesses and the state park remain accessible.

In Cle Elum, State Route 10 will stay closed overnight due to ongoing flooding. The closure stretches from the SR-970 junction to Hayward Road. Officials noted that water from the Teanaway River continues to flood the road, with more rain expected.
