
WASHINGTON STATE — Relief is now available for victims of the recent extreme flooding in Washington State, according to an announcement from the state’s Emergency Management Division.
Affected residents in King, Snohomish, Skagit or Whatcom County are eligible to apply. Additional counties may be included as more flood damage assessments are completed.
Applicants must meet specific criteria, including earning 80 percent or less of the area’s median gross income as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. They must also demonstrate that their primary residence was destroyed or seriously damaged by flooding events that occurred between December 5 and December 22.
