Flags to be flown at half-staff in Washington to honor Colleen Bass

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Governor Bob Ferguson has ordered flags at state facilities to be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, October 15, in memory of Colleen Bass.

Bass, a security guard at Eastern State Hospital, was killed in the line of duty on September 27.

The governor’s order specifies that flags should remain at half-staff until the close of business or sunset on Wednesday.
