SPOKANE, Wash. – Flags at City facilities will be lowered to half-staff in honor of former Secretary of State Ralph Munro, following a directive from Gov. Bob Ferguson.
“Ralph was a statesman and an exemplary public servant. I enjoyed serving with him when I was in the legislature and will remember him fondly whenever bagpipes are played at official events,” Mayor Brown said.
Munro, who passed away on March 20, 2025, will be honored at a memorial service on Saturday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at the Washington State Capitol Legislative Building Rotunda.
