PURDY, Wash. – Five people are dead after a stabbing and a reported shooting involving law enforcement on Saturday.
According to our media partners at Fox 13, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said that while deputies were headed to serve a no-contact order to a suspect at around 8:47 a.m., witnesses reported seeing him stab several people.
Shots were fired at around 9:33 a.m.
Four people were pronounced dead at the scene, including the suspect, and a fifth pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.
