Firefighters tackle structure fire on Krystle Loop in Sagle

SAGLE, Idaho – Selkirk Fire, along with several assisting agencies, responded to a structure fire on the 200 block of Krystle Loop on December 21, 2025, at 1:46 p.m. According to Selkirk Fire Rescue & EMS, residents were advised to exercise caution in the area due to heavy smoke.

Upon arrival, units reported a working fire. Firefighters launched an aggressive attack and managed to knock down the fire, which was contained to a room and its contents by 2:09 p.m. One person was evaluated by BCEMS personnel, while B1202 took command of the incident.

By 2:34 p.m., firefighters were checking for fire extension and confirmed that the fire was stopped. Resources remained on the scene for an extended period to ensure safety.

The fire was fully extinguished by 4:56 p.m. One civilian was treated and released, with no injuries reported among fire personnel. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
