
PULLMAN, Wash. – Firefighters south of Pullman responded swiftly to a kitchen fire on Saturday night at approximately 7:30 p.m. Crews arrived at the scene within eight minutes, according to a report.
There were no reports of injuries, and the extent of the damage remains unknown.
Pullman firefighters attributed their quick response to increased staffing levels for the Lentil Festival, which took place over the weekend. This additional personnel allowed them to address the fire efficiently.
