PULLMAN, Wash. – City of Pullman responded to a wildfire just northeast of Pullman at 4001 Whelan Road around 1:45 p.m. today.
Their firefighters assisted Whitman County Fire Department, which had already sent firefighters to the scene.
By 2:29, the fire was under control and first responders were working to put out the last hot stops.
City of Pullman said that they expect the fire to be out completely within the hour.
