
MONTANA – Firefighters around the state had a busy end to the year.
Sun Prairie Volunteer fire shared crews responded to a fire that led to the death of some family pets.
People inside the home were able to make it out safe, and one animal was taken to the vet.
Several agencies responded, including Vaughn Fire & Rescue VFD, Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Department, and Firefighters from the Montana Air National Guard – 120th Airlift Wing.
Whitefish Professional Firefighters Local 3995 reports their crews responded to both a small house fire and a second alarm commercial fire.
Crews from the valley helped put out both fires and worked to help with other emergencies.
“Wonderful work done by B-Shift and all of our mutual aid partners!” Whitefish Professional Firefighters Local 3995 said on social media.
