COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Firefighter Dave Tysdal, injured in the , has made strides in his recovery.
The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department reported that Tysdal, who suffered a serious blood infection leading to sepsis, is now back on track with his rehabilitation therapy.
His upper body strength is improving, although the road to full recovery remains long.
“We are certainly cheering him on and wishing him the absolute best,” the fire department said.
