SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Fire danger has officially increased across the Spokane area.
According to Spokane County Fire District 3, the fire danger rating in the area has increased from Low to Moderate.
Fire District 3 asks you to please use extra caution when burning outdoors, around campfires or fire pits, using equipment that creates sparks, smoking, and parking vehicles on dry grass.
Remember to check your local burn restrictions before burning, keep water and tools nearby when using outdoor flames, fully extinguish fires until they are cool to the touch, and report smoke or fire immediately.
