SPOKANE, Wash. – A trailer fire at the Hilltop Mobile Home and RV Park prompted a quick response from the Spokane Fire Department (SFD) on Thursday night.
SFD received the call around 9:30 p.m. and dispatched units to the 5300 block of West Sunset Highway.
Personnel at the scene reported that a power line has fallen and crews are currently waiting for Avista to shut the power off before proceeding with mop-up efforts.
No information has been shared regarding the cause of the blaze, and fire crews have yet to report on whether the trailer was occupied at the time.
A neighbor at the RV park stated that the trailer’s owner was likely at work and not present when the fire started.
