
GAZA — FIFA has announced plans to fund a national football stadium in Gaza in collaboration with President Trump’s Board of Peace.
The FIFA President highlighted the initiative’s goal to introduce new sports opportunities to the war-torn region.
“It’s about building hope and trust in the region,” said the FIFA President.
FIFA has committed to investing $50 million in constructing a national football stadium with a capacity of 20,000 to 25,000 spectators. Additionally, a FIFA Academy will be built at a cost of $15 million.
The organization also plans to construct 50 “FIFA Arena Mini Pitches” and five full-sized pitches, with a total investment of $7.5 million.
