SPOKANE, Wash. – Ferris High School hosted the “Science on the South Hill” event Thursday night.
Organizers highlighted that the event offered many hands-on activities with local health professionals, and interactive exhibits, including an inflatable colon.
The event was arranged to inspire students from grades K-12, giving them an opportunity to participate in active lab experiences like organ exploration, strawberry DNA extraction, fingerprinting and more.
“Science on the South Hill” is scheduled to go until 7 p.m., so any families in the area with students in grades K-12 are encouraged to stop by.
