SPOKANE, Wash. – The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington has charged 21 individuals following a federal investigation into drug trafficking and violent crime in Spokane.

The investigation, led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, targeted violent individuals and drug traffickers. This effort resulted in multiple arrests and indictments.

Over 14 pounds of methamphetamine, 1 kilogram of heroin, 16,000 fentanyl pills, 5.5 pounds of fentanyl powder, and 36 firearms were seized during the operation. A civil forfeiture complaint has also been filed against a Spokane apartment complex used for drug distribution and illegal firearms activities.

The investigation began in October 2024 and spanned seven months. It focused on Spokane’s Division Street area, known for its open-air drug market, and involved multiple states including Washington, Texas, and California.

Seizures included substantial quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, cash, vehicles, and firearms. A Spokane apartment complex near a high school is under a civil forfeiture complaint due to its use in drug and firearm activities.

Several individuals, some with gang ties and violent histories, face charges related to drug distribution and firearm possession. Key individuals include Andrew Vincent Auerbach, Daryl Edward Boone, Jonathan Jacob Inglis, and Roland Dewayne Sanders, among others.

The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces led the investigation, focusing on dismantling high-level criminal organizations. Arraignments for the charged individuals are scheduled for May 9, 2025, at the Spokane Federal Courthouse.
