LEAVENWORTH, Wash. – Federal authorities are intensifying their search for Travis Decker, wanted on three counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree kidnapping in the deaths of his three daughters.

The two day grid search operation, taking place in the vicinity of Rock Island Campground near Leavenworth, is led by the FBI Seattle Office in collaboration with federal, state, and local agencies.

The public is urged to avoid the area to allow search teams to operate effectively. Road and trail closures may inconvenience summer visitors, but community cooperation is essential.

Special Agent W. Mike Herrington of the FBI Seattle field office reiterated the priority of the case, stating, “We are committed to our continued collaboration to locate Decker, discover signs of his whereabouts, or find any other evidence of the murder of his three daughters.”

Herrington said the operation involves nearly 100 personnel, including FBI agents, intelligence analysts and specialty units. The rugged terrain presents challenges, with steep hillsides, dense brush and minimal cell service complicating efforts, Herrington added.

Chelan County Sheriff Michael Morrison expressed gratitude for the continued support from law enforcement partners and emphasized the community’s commitment to justice for Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker.

“Our hearts remain with their loved ones, and we are unwavering in our commitment to seeking justice on their behalf,” Morrison said.

No conclusive evidence has been found indicating Decker is dead or alive, the FBI Seattle Division noted.

The U.S. Marshals Service continues to offer a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center or submit a tip online.
