A planned press conference on the assassination of Charlie Kirk has been postponed, the FBI said, due to “rapid developments” in the investigation.
The press conference was scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. It has not yet been re-scheduled.
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has released photos of a person of interest in the at Utah Valley University yesterday.
“We are asking for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley,” the bureau wrote.
The FBI has also offered a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the identification of the person responsible for the shooting.
Kirk was a prominent ally of President Trump and founder of right-wing political organization Turning Point USA.
Anyone with information as to the individual’s identity is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
