CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – A fatal crash on SR-97a north of Knapps Tunnel blocked traffic on the road, according to Washington State Patrol District 6.
The crash happened at milepost 227, according to District 6. The district advised drivers to take SR-971 to avoid the area.
A school bus was involved in the crash but no injuries were reported on the bus, District 6 said.
A near Daroga Park also caused closures on Highway 97, between mile markers 219 and 218.
Detours are available at Highway 97A, US-2 Pine Canyon or McNeil Canyon Road.
