Family displaced by late night fire in Spokane Valley apartment

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A family is displaced after a fire broke out late last night in Spokane Valley. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. in an apartment complex on the 12,000 block of East Marietta.

The Spokane Valley Fire Department confirmed that the family living in the apartment was out of town at the time of the fire. Fortunately, a dog was rescued from the blaze.

Fire officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire. The community is urged to stay informed as more details become available.
