The Latah County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) announced that all evacuation orders have been lifted after conferring with the Idaho Department of Lands.
The Lamb Fire was reportedly burning 80 acres as of 4 p.m.
Residents have been cleared to return to the area, but not the general public, as fire crews will continue working there over the next few days, according to the LCSO.
Authorities added that smoke will likely be visible in the area for several days.
TROY, Idaho – A “Level 3: Go” evacuation order is in effect for the 50 acre Lamb Fire near Troy, Idaho.
63 addresses are within the evacuation zone, the Latah County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.
Residents on Driscoll Ridge Road, Sumner Road, Bartho Lane and Lamb Road are being told to evacuate immediately.
Latah County sheriff’s deputies are attempting door-to-door notifications.
The sheriff’s office urges the public to avoid the area to allow firefighters to control the blaze effectively.
