FLORIDA — A daring chase unfolded in Florida when an emu made a break for it, setting off a call to law enforcement.
The sheriff’s office shared details on social media, stating that the large bird “kicked several times using its large talons and fled on foot recklessly.”
Fortunately, the emu was not sent to jail. Instead, it was safely returned to its owners.
