
ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Scott A. Meyers, a 32-year-old resident of Ellensburg, was sentenced to 275 months in prison by the Kittitas County Superior Court. Meyers pleaded guilty to distributing and possessing child sex abuse material (CSAM).
The sentencing followed a thorough investigation conducted by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the Ellensburg Police Department. Detectives from both agencies are part of the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, which receives support from the Department of Homeland Security.
The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office, along with the U.S. Department of Justice, played a crucial role in prosecuting the case. This sentencing underscores the commitment to protecting children from exploitation and harm.
