
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Residents in the Valley 206 Apartment complex woke up this morning to an Emergency Alert text notification telling them to shelter in place. Outside, over a dozen law enforcement officers with K-9s made an arrest.
According to a witness at the scene, the man who was arrested by police was a former meth dealer who had a warrant for six months for an undisclosed charge.
Neighbors said that the standoff with law enforcement lasted several hours. SWAT vehicles were on the scene and a NonStop Local reporter on the scene received a video of a small explosion before the arrest was made.
