PULLMAN, Wash. – An early-morning fire broke out Sunday in the kitchen of an apartment unit on Northwest Wayne Street.
Firefighters managed to contain the blaze to just one apartment unit, preventing further damage to the building.
The Pullman Fire Department shared on Facebook that having additional firefighters available is crucial, stating that proper staffing saves lives and property.
