Dry Falls Visitor Center closing for accessibility, infrastructure improvements

SOAP LAKE, Wash. — The Dry Falls Visitor Center is closing until 2027 as major renovations kick off next week.

Washington State Parks says the center is 60 years old and will undergo much needed upgrades. Some of these include accessibility improvements, a new HVAC system and roof, and repairing exterior areas.

The parking lot, restrooms, and overlook will close on April 20 and be closed until next summer.

The nearest restrooms for people will be in Coulee City, Soap Lake and Sun Lakes State Park. Sun Lakes will also stay open for camping.
