
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced that drivers should prepare for delays on U.S. Highway 95 this Sunday. Crews will be painting highway lines between Lancaster Road and the Spokane River Bridge from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The ITD emphasized the need for extra caution in this high-traffic area. Drivers are urged to give ITD paint crews plenty of space, follow posted signs and avoid crossing over the wet paint lines.
Idaho State Police will assist the process with additional patrols to ensure safety.
The ITD also announced further upcoming road striping projects.
From July 29-31, striping will be completed on State Highway 35, from the Washington state line to U.S. 95.
From August 4-6, striping will be completed on State Highway 41, from Mullan Avenue to Rathdrum.
From August 6-18, road striping will be completed on U.S. 95, from the Spokane River Bridge to Sanders Road.
Additional routes like State Highway 58 and 60 could be added to the schedule if time permits, according to the ITD.
