Sunday morning, the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office responded to numerous calls about a single vehicle collision on northbound Highway 95 at mile marker 316.
According to Nez Perce police, a Jeep Wrangler ran off the road and collided with the adjacent hillside. The car continued moving along the hillside until it eventually flipped over and came to a stop.
The driver was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was transported to the hospital with severe injuries.
Nez Perce authorities are still investigating the incident.
