KOOSKIA, Idaho – Just after midnight last night, Kooskia Emergency Services responded to a call about a car that had driven off road and plunged into the Lochsa River.
The incident occurred just East of Lowell at milepost 99.5 on Highway 12.
Upon arrival, Kooskia Emergency Services found that the driver of the car had been pulled away by a Good Samaritan that saw the accident while on Highway 12.
The driver was transported by Kooskia with only minor injuries.
