Driver injured in Grant County crash on I-90 near Moses Lake

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported a single-car crash on Saturday that injured a Seattle driver.

The incident happened on Interstate 90 near mile post 180, just east of Moses Lake, around 11:31 a.m.

According to the WSP, the car was driving westbound, when it began to drift off of the left side of the interstate and collided with the cable barrier, before coming to a stop in the median. The car was left totaled.

The driver, an 82-year-old Seattle man, was wearing a seatbelt but still sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital. WSP noted he is facing charges for “driving with wheels off roadway.”
