
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley firefighters safely extricated a driver involved in a two-car crash Wednesday afternoon, according to the Spokane Valley Fire Department.
A department spokesperson said the crash happened around 3 p.m. One driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, while the other was not injured.
North Bowdish Road remains blocked at East Jackson Avenue. Firefighters are asking drivers to avoid the area. A tow truck has been called, and the road is expected to remain closed for a while longer.
The cause of the crash is unknown and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
