SPOKANE, Wash. – A 22-year-old driver was arrested for driving under the influence after a rollover crash in the early morning hours Saturday.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said that they responded to a call from a witness stating a car was flipped upside down in their neighbor’s front yard at around 2:20 a.m.
When deputies arrived, they found the driver, Eric Gallagher, sitting on the ground next to the car. SCSO wrote in a press release that Gallagher said something to the effect of “I’m drunk, you can arrest me, man,” when approached.
A breathalyzer test showed his blood alcohol content level to be between 0.178 and 0.180. The legal limit is 0.08.
He was booked into the Spokane County Jail and later released by a judge on his own recognizance.
