LAS VEGAS – A two-year-old dog left at an airport ticket counter in Las Vegas has been adopted by the police officer who responded to the scene.
The golden doodle-mini poodle, named Jet Blue by police, was reportedly abandoned at the airport. Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas, an animal rights group, contacted the dog’s owner, providing them ten days to claim the dog. However, a spokesperson for the group said the owner hung up during the call.
Following the incident, officers made an arrest related to the case.
Members of Retriever Rescue acknowledged the officer’s decision to adopt the dog, noting that Jet Blue has found a new home.
